Meet our March Employees of the Month
Our Employee of the Month awards programme is in full swing for this year, so much so, we were delighted to identify five deserving employees in March!
Collectively, the fivesome have stood out for numerous reasons (more on this below), which include demonstrating these core values – We Work Together, We Are Safe & Ethical, Always, and We Are Trusted.
Employee of the month #1: Reece Beaney, Planning and Logistics Manager, Thurrock
Reece is based at our Thurrock Service Centre and his performance, dedication and exceptional work ethic has been nothing short of outstanding. He consistently goes above and beyond in fulfilling multiple roles and responsibilities. And he does it proactively and positively.
Notably, Reece has been a true customer champion, offering effective solutions and alternatives to make sure there is a seamless balance between supply and demand. Despite juggling the many challenges associated with managing multiple roles, he has maintained a smooth operation under pressure.
Reece’s hard work, reliability and problem-solving skills have had a positive direct impact on the overall team's success. He has shown immense commitment to supporting not just his own tasks, but the entire depot's performance.
Employee of the month #2: Jennifer Marples, Key Account Internal Sales
Jennie has been recognised for her incredible contributions – she consistently goes above and beyond and is the ultimate team player. Whether it's helping colleagues with quotations, troubleshooting issues, providing support with product knowledge and processes or engaging with customers, she always approaches each task with a positive attitude and unwavering dedication.
She also manages to do all of this while maintaining a calm, bubbly personality that truly lights up the wider team. Jennie's willingness to help, combined with her infectious enthusiasm, makes her a breath of fresh air, and her support never goes unnoticed. We receive nothing but positive feedback about Jennie, both internally and externally, from customers.
Employee of the month #3: Bradlee Marrah, Regional Service Engineer, Bristol
Brad recently has had to make a tough call on-site, which resulted in him having to ‘Stop the job’ because the customer wanted a set-up where the slope and the supporting foundations were not good enough. This was due to there not being level ground or the proper foundations in place.
Brad stayed on site to allow for the safe delivery of the AV units on a car park. Whether the delivery can either be sited long-term, or foundations can be built, is yet to be determined. But what we do know is that Brad managed the situation effectively and correctly, and this should be celebrated.
Employee of the month #4: Kyle Bowen, Production Manager, Brigend
According to Kyle’s manager: “I can categorically say as a Service Centre Manager, the branch's results/success, especially over the last few months, is hugely down to Kyle. I receive daily feedback about how he has sorted an issue, taken an order at short notice, found solutions, kept the team morale high, and I will be honest, there have been testing times.
“Over the last few weeks, despite having no forklift, Kyle has managed the yard and his team with absolute encouragement, can-do attitude, resilience and drive which, in turn, bounced off the team and made us achieve our targets.”
Employee of the month #5:Shaunalee Dibble, Forklift Truck Driver, Bristol
Shauna has been selected for her incredible work as our only Forklift Truck Driver. Since her promotion from a B1 Truck Driver, she has truly stood out in her role and made a significant impact at our Bristol branch.
Due to current vacancies, Shauna has taken on the responsibility of being the sole Forklift Truck Driver driver at the site, and has done so with great determination and professionalism. She has consistently impressed us with how she has stepped up and taken ownership of the yard, making sure that operations continue to run smoothly. Some days, she has even played a key role in keeping the branch productive.
Her proactive approach and the effort she puts into her work do not go unnoticed, and we truly appreciate everything she has done.
Our Employees of the Month receive credits that they can exchange for items/digital gift cards within our rewards and recognition platform.
