Algeco Celebrates their Employees who go above and beyond supporting customers

Employees of the Month: Quarterly update

Every month, we have the pleasure of championing multiple organisation-wide employees, who go the extra mile every day to provide our clients with industry-leading portable and modular building solutions.

In addition to going above and beyond, these individuals bring our values, ‘we work together, we are trusted, we act safely and ethically always, we continuously improve, and we are caring and respectful’ to life, reinforcing our industry-leading capabilities every day.

Over the last quarter, the following ten employees were recognised as being Employees of the Month, an achievement that not only positively impacts themselves and their colleagues, but our customers too.

May’s Employees of the Month

1. Joshua Sutherland, Site Planning and Logistics Manager

Josh works at our King’s Lynn service centre. He was instrumental in delivering a 72-bay project in Totton by overcoming numerous challenges and time constraints calmly and professionally. He always seeks solutions to make sure our work is delivered with a positive attitude. And he collaborates with his team to deliver what’s required to the highest standard.

2. Megan Drury, Customer Support Co-ordinator

Megan works across our South region. She recently transferred to our North West team for eight weeks. During this time, she worked tirelessly to help get their workload back on track, often working additional hours because she cares about our customers and the team. Her positive attitude significantly boosted team morale, with everyone working closely together to complete the required work.

3. Christopher Gosling, Forklift Truck Driver

Chris is based at our Bridgend service centre. He continuously goes above and beyond, even when facing significant challenges, including yard congestion during busier periods. Chris makes sure the Beyond Economic Repair (BER) is efficiently planned, so that everything runs smoothly for our customers, who frequently give Chris positive feedback about his professional and efficient work.

4. Tanya Forehead, Customer Support Co-ordinator

Tanya works across our South region, which recently experienced some changes. She remained stoic and supported her colleagues, which included delivering several training sessions for them. Tanya always goes above and beyond and makes sure we are meeting our customers’ requirements and delivering the best results.

June’s Employees of the Month

5. Louie Burden – Assistant Dispatcher, Logistics Team

Louie has been an outstanding asset to the business since joining us in August last year. He is always positive and keen to support the team when dealing with challenging workloads. He’s grasped all of our systems and how we operate extremely quickly too. He’s also demonstrated that he is adaptable in any situation. Always polite and professional, even when under immense pressure, Louie is an absolute pleasure to work with.

6. Aled Owen, Gary Williams & John Edwards, HGV Drivers

Aled, Gary and John have gone above and beyond recently to make sure jobs are completed when problems with units not stacking and site set-ups have occurred. The trio has stayed and worked hard to overcome these challenges and ensure health and safety compliance. They always make sure jobs get completed, even when faced with unit or site restriction-related challenges. They get on with their jobs and deliver for the business and our customers.

July’s Employees of the Month

7. Connor Rowland, Electrical Team Leader, Logistics Team

Connor is based at our Kings Lynn service centre. He recently worked tirelessly and at short notice to complete a 72-bay project. The customer was extremely impressed with the units/set-up, which could not have been achieved without Connor’s drive and enthusiasm to get the job completed on time to such a high standard. His efforts are second-to-none, driving the team to produce outstanding units efficiently, and always looking for ways to improve.

8. Billy Thomas, Key Account Executive, Advante

Billy works in our Advante Key Accounts Team. He recently helped our new business team, going above and beyond his normal job role. He took on additional work to help the team run smoothly in addition to building relationships and maintaining his high standards of work. Billy has a determination and drive to succeed in all aspects of his job and his passion and positive attitude is inspiring to those around him. He consistently hits his sales targets, his knowledge has been infectious and his support, essential.

9. Clive Boon, Lead Electrician

Clive is our Lead Electrician in Kings Lynn. Working alongside Connor Rowland and other colleagues, Clive was part of the 72-bay project mentioned above. Thanks to his hard work, he helped make the project a reality. He was a pleasure to work with and a safe pair of hands for his colleagues, helping turn this project into a real success.

10. Alan Mudge, Transport Supervisor

Alan works in our North East Transport Team. He’s always going that extra mile to make sure our customers receive excellent levels of service. Extremely helpful, Alan recently saved the day when a collection had been missed and his colleagues were struggling to find a haulier. Alan managed to sort everything in five minutes. This is just one example of his professionalism. He plays a major role, not just in the North, but UK-wide. Alan’s always willing to help and make sure everything runs smoothly.
