PURPOSE

You will be part of the Mod Hire Operational Structure, acting as a primary point of contact to manage allocated projects, ensuring that they are delivered safely, on time, to a very high standard and to budget.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

HEALTH & SAFETY
With support and guidance from a Health & Safety team, you will be jointly responsible for:

  • Ensuring that the business complies with the strictest health and safety standards within the site environment with a culture of zero harm.
  • Strict control and adherence for all health and safety matters reviewing subcontractor RAMS and creating Algeco RAMS / Lift plans.
  • Ensure a high standard of health & safety is maintained to safeguard both Algeco employees &; subcontractors.
  • Drive for continuous improvements via SIFP, RAG cards, observations and near-miss reporting, investigating to establish root cause and corrective actions.

CUSTOMERS
You will be responsible for:

  • Provide a point of contact with the customer, building effective and constructive relationships with key customer stakeholders.
  • Ensuring customer satisfaction (NPS) scores are on/above target.
  • Effectively representing the Algeco brand in all customer interactions, managing the customer's expectations.
  • Establish good relationships with clients and all key stakeholders to secure repeat business.
  • Assisting aftercare, ensuring defects are managed promptly and in accordance with standards through effective communication so that every customer enjoys exceptional customer service.

MANAGING OPERATIONS
You will be responsible for:

  • Ensuring KPI’s are met on all customers serviced by Algeco.
  • Ensuring quality of work is of a very high standard.
  • Co-ordinate the installation process
  • Manage subcontractors, raise requisitions, and coordinate the work, ensuring that work is completed on time and within budget.
  • Ensure all subcontractors are appointed on a timely basis by the Algeco procurement process.
  • Ensure all works meet building regulation requirements.
  • Chair meetings ( Internal & External )
  • Manage, guide & mentor site managers and project managers within the division
  • Ensure close coordination and productive feedback is maintained with the off-site management.
  • Close out all snagging before completion on site
  • Manage all aspects of the project to meet all contract goals and objectives.

FINANCIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be responsible for:-

  • Ensuring that all costs are controlled in line with project targets to help drive improvement in both gross margin and return on capital, via I&E’s and Live order analysis reporting
  • Supporting the business in delivering the key organisational financial budgeted metrics of revenue and EBITDA.
  • Work closely with Commercial & Admin to ensure they deliver accurate & timely information to support the above

Ensure site efficiency and cost management

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

You will need to be someone that:

  • The ability to give clear instructions to a team
  • The ability to plan your team’s workload to meet targets
  • The capability to manage multiple projects at the same time
  • To be able to understand both verbal and written instructions
  • Must have the ability to work effectively under pressure and be able to react to changing priorities
  • Have a full UK driving licence.

 
You should have the following work experience:

  • Will have experience in working in this role for a modular, specialist or construction contractor
  • CSCS black card, SMSTS and first aid
  • DBS, BPSS clearance
  • Proven experience on contracts between £100K and £5m in value with a reputable contractor
  • IT Literacy on Microsoft products, including projects
