Pairing a Consort Wireless Controller
Has your heater stopped responding to the wireless controller?
If your Consort heater is no longer responding to its wireless controller, the heater and controller may need to be re-paired.
Common signs that pairing is required:
- The heater will not switch on using the controller
- The controller appears to be working, but there is no heat output
- Power to the heater has been interrupted and communication has been lost
Only take action if you feel it is safe to do so
Before you begin
- Check that the wireless controller is switched off
- Ensure the power supply to the heater is switched on
Safety notice: If the supply switch at the heater shows any signs of overheating, such as browning, scorching, or cracking, do not continue. Contact Algeco immediately.
How to pair the wireless controller
- Press and hold the button on the controller until the lights begin scrolling in a circular motion
- Wait for the lights to turn green — this confirms the controller and heater have successfully paired
- The heater will usually switch on briefly to confirm pairing, then switch off again after 5–10 seconds
- Press and release the button once (do not hold it down)
The controller light will turn solid green and the heater should begin operating
Repeat the process from the beginning, ensuring the heater has power and the controller is within range. If the issue continues, please contact our maintenance support team below. They will diagnose the issue and arrange any necessary repairs if required.
