Water bowser issues

If your water bowser has stopped heating, isn’t dispensing hot water, or appears to have no power, there are a few common issues that could be causing the problem. You may notice the heater not kicking in, the pump not operating correctly, or the unit tripping and shutting down unexpectedly. These issues are often linked to a simple reset or power interruption and can usually be resolved quickly on site.

A simple step-by-step reset fix

This video guide takes you through the quick and safe process of resetting your water bowser unit to get it back up and running.

Here’s a simple reset process you can carry out safely before requesting support:

  1. Check the power supply switches outside the bowser are turned on.
  2. Check the fuse box located above the power switches.
  3. Make sure the pump and heater are turned on.
  4. Make sure the water level is above the pump.
  5. If the pump is running but no water is coming out, loosen the bleed cap on the pump until water flows, then tighten it again.

Following these steps can often get the water bowser back up and running within minutes, helping to reduce downtime and avoid unnecessary callouts.
