PURPOSE

Developing and implementing customised revenue management/pricing strategies in line with overall strategy to grow market share, maximise deal profitability and optimize fleet utilisation at branch level

YOU PROBABLY WANT TO KNOW WHATS INVOLVED

  • Developing and implementing customised revenue management/pricing strategies in line with overall strategy to grow market share, maximise deal profitability and optimize fleet utilisation at branch level
  • Protecting overall margin
  • Monitoring pricing trends across branches/regions as well as the competitive environment and identify relevant opportunities
  • Acting as Country/Regional Pricing Advisor to the Steering Committee and Sales team, supporting new pricing strategy change management
  • Owning and maintaining all price lists (and pricing tools)
  • Actively participating in the design of Framework Agreements
  • Assisting with the development of innovative commercial strategies and action plans to address business needs
  • Exploring local commercial and marketing teams’ new pricing and promotional tactics, conduct pilots and monitor results
  • Developing central / local pricing expertise by identifying, sharing and implementing best practices
  • Creating and disseminating pricing related reporting / documentation / governance to Country Management

WHAT EXPERIENCE WE NEED FROM YOU

  • Has a Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Finance / Economics / Business / Operations or related field, or equivalent experience required
  • Has prior pricing experience (5+ years), preferably in the B2B industry
  • Possesses solid quantitative and analytical skills, the ability to work in a team setting, and able to support change management within the organisation
  • Is able to think quantitatively, to quickly review reports and data and to prioritise opportunities
  • Has advanced level experience with Excel
  • Preferably has experience with a pricing tool
  • Has the capacity to understand, listen and influence across various levels of management
  • Can demonstrate strong business acumen and sound interpersonal skills
  • Has exceptional verbal and written communications skills, as well as solid presentation skills
  • Is willing to travel within the country/region
